Outfitters and lodges

We build the systems that run outfitting operations.

Every inquiry answered, every trip booked and paid, every client followed up, and the season in one place.

The problem

The season runs on a phone, a calendar and a shop's memory.

Inquiries arrive by phone, text, email and message while the guides are on the water. The booking system, the retail counter and the guide schedule do not talk to each other, so someone reconciles them by hand.

Trip reports are written by some guides and not others, agency usage reports are typed in at the end of the month, and past clients are not contacted when next season opens.

What we build for outfitters

The booking engine, the receptionist, the follow-up and the records.

  1. A website that books the trip on its own

Live availability, a deposit at booking and the balance before the trip. Multi-day trips take a date range and price themselves.

  2. A receptionist that answers every inquiry

Calls are answered and missed calls are texted back at any hour. The caller is qualified and the trip is booked or handed to you.

  3. Follow-up and reminders that go out on time

Confirmations, waiver reminders, the night-before text, the review request after the trip, and a note to past clients when the season opens.

  4. One record of every client and trip

Inquiries, bookings, payments, waivers and messages in one place, connected to the booking and lodging tools you already run.

The guide platform

A platform we built for guides.

A guide-operations platform built end to end for an outfitter: live river conditions, trip reporting, a searchable trip history, and content publishing from the reports. It is not a template or off-the-shelf software. It is the kind of tool we build for the operations we work with.

  • Live flows and weather for each river section, from public gauges.
  • Trip reports with the conditions filled in automatically.
  • Every past trip searchable by flow, weather and date.
  • Newsletter and social posts drafted from the trip report.

Why Tabor Tech

Built by people who have guided.

A guide rigging a fly in a drift boat while a client casts on a river in the fall
  • We have run small businesses.

Years in the field, guiding fly fishing trips on Colorado rivers and working in carpentry, landscaping and ski shops.

  • We know how a field business runs.

Every system is built around the way your work already happens, and explained in plain terms.

  • We build systems that last.

One system of record, Tabor OS, connected to the tools you already run.

How we work

A simple process, from the first call to a system that runs.

  1. A discovery call and a written scope.

We go through how your business runs today. You receive the scope in writing, with what is included and what is not.

  2. We build the system of record first, then the agents.

Everything is tested on your real workflow before we hand it over.

  3. It runs, and you see the week on Monday.

A short report each Monday shows calls, jobs, estimates, revenue and what needs your attention.

Works with Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, FareHarbor, LodgeRunner, Guidesly and Peek Pro.

Let's get you back on the water.

The right systems let your operation run well without longer days.
